How much does a restoration cost?
Cost for brushed finish repairs can vary due to the severity of the damage, depth of scratches and the extent of surface that needs to be re-grained and blended to form a consistent finish. Cost will differ on a "case by case" basis. Contact us for a free no obligation estimate.
How long does a restoration take?
Again this depends upon the severity of the damage. Average repairs can vary from just 1/2 an hour up to 3-4 hours for larger surfaces and deeper scratches. Please note that some deep scratches may not be removed to a satisfactory 100% level. At Alta Stainless Restoration we have had great success in the removal of most scratches.
Is there any surface that can't be repaired?
Alta Stainless Restoration cannot repair any stainless surface without a brushed grain-finish such as mirrored and high gloss finishes. We only repair true un-coated stainless steel surfaces and perform a surface test to confirm we are not handling imitation or coated finished products.
Can I repair only the damaged area?
No unfortunately due to a mismatch in the grain appearance between the repaired area and the remaining surface. Alta Stainless Restoration will provide an "as close as possible match" to your existing grain profile with little change to the current appearance.
What area do we service?
Although we are based in the Calgary region we cover the whole of Alberta and further afield for larger projects, travel fees and out of town expenses will apply.
